  • Phosphate Binder – A strong, fast acting buffer that reduces phosphate levels to solve algae problems. This is done by quickly and permanently binding phosphates, so they can't return to the aquarium.
  • Highly porous bead-shape – Promotes easy fow through, increasing efficiency and capacity. Phosphate Binder is also colorless and will not cloud the water.
  • Contains one cartridge with 50g of phosphate binder – fits inside the filter chamber, in place of the 30 ppi filter foam, of the BioStyle filter. The quantity of cartridges that can fit in a BioStyle unit depends on the size of the filter.
  • Changing the cartridge – Phosphate binder should be used only when needed and replaced after 2 to 6 weeks, depending upon aquarium size, number of fish and plants, and declines in filter performance
  • Rinse cartridge with water before use – do not open the cartridge

📸 How to Participate

  1. Take a great picture of your fish or aquarium.
  2. Email your picture to tropicalshowcasequestions@gmail.com.
  3. In your email, please include:
    1. Your account email: The email address linked to your TropicalShowcase.com account, if it's different from the email you're sending from.
    2. Your name or nickname: Tell us how you'd like to be credited in the picture.
  4. If we select and use your picture, you’ll receive a $10 Tropical Showcase store credit as a thank-you!

Please make sure you’re a registered member at TropicalShowcase.com before submitting your picture.

By submitting your photo, you give Tropical Showcase permission to use it in our promotional images and marketing materials if selected.

Live Goods Return Policy

All livestock purchases are final. Special consideration can be made when proof of the deceased animal is presented to management within 48 hours of purchase. Must have a separate water tank sample for testing and current picture of the tank the animal was housed in. Specials ordered fish have no chance of a special consideration.

Dry Goods Return Policy

Special order items are subject to a 33% restocking Fee.

Merchandise returns are as follows: 7 Days from the date of the purchase, unopened, with original receipt. Light bulbs and open electronics are Non-refundable.

All returns must have an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Code, which is obtained by contacting us directly.

  • RMA Codes will only be issued for items within 30 days of purchase.
  • Returns will only be processed for merchandise that is in NEW condition, unopened in its original packaging
  • Return Shipping costs are at the expense of the customer. We do not reimburse shipping costs.
  • COD’s are not accepted as returns and will not be accepted.
  • Packages received without RMA Codes will not be refunded.

If there are functional issues or defects discovered after the product has been opened, please contact the manufacturer directly.
